DESCRIPTION:Planned in conjunction with Global Youth Service Day\, Lafayette in Action 2018 seeks to build community through service and celebration and acknowledge the continued contributions of Lafayette's young people.\n\nThe event timeline is as follows: \n\n**9:00-10:00 a.m. - On-site registration and kick-off breakfast (and Zumba) at Escuela Biling e Pioneer.\n\n**10:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. - Service projects at several schools and organizations throughout the community\n\n**12:30-2:30 p.m. - Afternoon celebration at Pioneer\, featuring student presentations and awards\, live entertainment\, children's activities\, refreshments and a silent auction.\n\n\nLafayette in Action 2018 is FREE and open to the public.
